October 2025: Validation of distant calibration of the IC frequency reference via GPS at the 10-15 level
OBSPARIS has characterized the short- and long- term performances of the IC frequency reference by a direct collocated comparison against the local timescale UTC(OP), and via a high-grade GPS receiver using common view and techniques, to prepare the measurement strategy at IC. The closure between direct and GPS comparison reached the 10-15 level at averaging period of few days or a fraction of day depending on the GPS comparison technique.
